We have created a truly celebratory hamper, choc full of fabulous Northumberland Nibbles, perfect for birthdays, Christmas, or any wintery drinks.
Firstly, we have to shout about the charcuterie in this hamper. We've never included any meat in our hampers, and so we knew we wanted to find something exceptional... and gracious, we found a good one. Made on Peelham farm in Berwickshire, this air-dried Prosciutto is a fabulous salty treat. In addition, this meat is Organic, and the pigs has been reared to the highest standards. We can't wait for you to try it.
We have paired this gorgeous Prosciutto with two of our best cheeses; the first is our Oak-Smoked cheese, which packs a punchy flavour, perfect competition for this charcuterie. We have also included a 300g wodge of our Coquetdale; crumbly and creamy with delicious complex notes, it's a sophisticated companion for the Smoked cheese.
No aperitif would be complete without some olives, and we've sourced ours from Silver and Green. We opted for the garlic-stuffed olives, because it's an unbeatable combination.
Finally, we wanted you to have a bit of texture in this hamper, so we have added some Fine Cheese Company Cheddar Crackers, which add a perfect savoury note to the select.
All you need is some lovely crisp white wine, or some Port, and you are set for a night-in with a feast!
